Asghar Ali

I have lived in Blackburn all my life went to local school. At university I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering .I joined a multinational company as a production manager then started my own manufacturing business in Blackburn, which at one time employed over 25 people. Eventually I decided that I could better use my skills and knowledge to help improve the next generation by going into education. I now teach mathematics, and have been the vice of chair governors, vice chair of northwest neighbour board  at Beardwood Humanities College for over 15 years.

I have been actively engaged in local issues for decades’ am committed to this area and our town, I want to see better schools, houses and jobs . I want to see everyone treated fairly, not just those who belong to a special group. Clan or family.

I am not a professional politician, but a professional who will use politics to solve your problems. It,s time to break Old habits; the ones that divide us.  Blackburn is becoming one party rule labour has more councillors We need strong voice in Blackburn in order to put stop to the Poor running of our town.
