Mark Russell has been selected as the Conservative candidate for Livesey with Pleasington

7 candidates threw their hat into the ring for the vacant seat and Mark was selected by a vote of the Party membership in the ward.

Mark said "Any of the candidates would have made a superb councillor for the ward and I am delighted to have been selected. I would like to thank everyone who took part in the process. I look forward to the election campaign and delivering for the residents of Livesey with Pleasington".

Chairman Julian Arnold said "I'm delighted for Mark. Livesey with Pleasington will have a fine new councillor".
